Whether it's summer or winter, a cup of cocoa with cream has always been special to me. Anyone who grew up in poor circumstances knows, that cocoa is not an everyday item on the shopping list, but rather a luxury good. That's why I enjoyed every cup of cocoa I could get my hands on until the very last sip. My love for cocoa was awakened at a very early age and I soon began to enhance those special cocoa moments with a variety of ingredients. Whether it was chili, a leftover chocolate Santa or exotic spices - nothing was safe from my love of experimentation. Much to the chagrin of my parents, who had to taste all the creations and give their opinion based on a point scale.
Today, my husband tests my various creations, because my love of experimentation has grown even further over the years and cocoa is now a fixed part of my shopping list. Also our viewers (Zuschauer*innen) on Instagram I have not spared and my lovingly decorated works of art diligently shared with them. My cocoa cup decorations I have polished more and more and so the demand for the recipes used also increased. When Andre suggested that I should launch my own cocoa, I didn't have to think twice. I was ready to take the plunge and fulfill my childhood dream. GoodBears was born.
GoodBears is not a simple cocoa, but is full of surprises. I have always loved it when something soft, crunchy or spicy was felt in the mouth while drinking cocoa. That's exactly what I was able to realize with a great little team through a lot of trial and error, and I couldn't be prouder! Every cup of cocoa means a little island of refuge for me, where I can enjoy a brief moment just for me. A little bit of happiness in a drink. This is exactly the feeling I want to bring home to you through my cocoa. GoodBears is my dream project and I hope you can taste the love!
